Our Story
My name is Bastien, owner and operator of French Foliage. I served in the French Airborne Marine Corps for almost 12 years before moving to the United States 6 years ago. I am a proud Dad of two kids.
I started learning more about local plants, designs, and procedures through formal training in horticulture and sales at Williams Plant Nursery in Jacksonville, Florida. My passion for outdoor living finds its seeds in my youth — gardening with my Dad in my Grandpa's yard.
For every project, regardless of scale, I apply meticulous attention to details like communication, material selection, proper planting with soil amendment, and long-term sustainability.
I take great pride in my work, and I like to say: "I will take care of your yard like it was my yard" — and that "your project will become our project."
12 years in the French Airborne Marine Corps shaped a work ethic built on precision, reliability, and follow-through — every time, on every project.
